Speakeasy Joins Support of “Next
Step…The Atlanta Promise”
and Teams with Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce
Atlanta-based Speakeasy (Speakeasyinc.com),
one of the country’s leading executive development
and communication consulting organizations, announced
today that it will offer its new “Make Your
First Impression Count” class available as
part of Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin’s “Next
Step...The Atlanta Promise” program. Speakeasy
also announced a marketing partnership with the Metro
Atlanta Chamber of Commerce (MACOC) that will make the
company a sponsor of a wide-range of MACOC activities,
programs and events.
“Make Your First Impression Count”
was developed for high school and college students who
will soon be entering the business world. This rare
offering is designed to provide students an honest assessment
of the strengths and weaknesses of their communication
style and explore ways to enhance their comfort and
effectiveness. “Make Your First Impression
Count” provides students the tools to feel
more relaxed and in-charge when speaking and provide
a deeper understanding of how they are perceived by
others and an awareness of the fundamentals required
to create a positive impression.
Weiss commented, “We’ve been helping business
executives become more successful for years; we feel
it’s important to foster the growth of young people
so they might do the same. We are honored to have “Make
Your First Impression Count” help students
as part of the City of Atlanta’s ‘The Next
Step…Atlanta’s Promise’ program.”
Speakeasy new marketing partnership with the MACOC will
include the company’s participation in the chamber’s
events, newsletters, membership directory, annual meeting
and more. “We’ve worked with the chamber
and their members for years,” Weiss commented.
“This next level of commitment is a logical step
for us to take and will reap benefits to Speakeasy as
well as members of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.”
Speakeasy (Speakeasyinc.com) has been helping executives
drive greater business success through developing more
effective and impactful communication abilities for
more than 30 years. The company has worked with executives
at such companies at Coca-Cola, Visa, Accenture, Cisco,
The Gillette Company, United States Postal Service,
Turner Broadcasting, Nestle USA, Sprint Corporation,
The Home Depot and hundreds of others. Speakeasy is
based in Atlanta, with expanding operations in San Francisco
and now offering programs in New York.
