Speakeasy brings Alison Behrman to New York Office.

Speakeasy is expanding it’s New York based instructional staff with the addition of long time New York voice coach, consultant, and voice therapist Alison Behrman.

Behrman is a life long New Yorker and will be delivering Speakeasy’s Style Impact Program “Talk So People Listen” out of their Manhattan office. She holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from New York University, and a Ph.D. in Speech Physiology from Columbia University. She has certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. She is the author of a best-selling textbook on speech science and speech-language pathology, and is co-author of a book for clinicians on voice therapy exercises.

“Alison’s early experience in an aggressive business environment helps her to understand our clients’ professional communication needs. She has the ability to push you to be the best that you can be.” said Scott Weiss, Presoident and CEO of the Atlanta based communication development group… adding “But, she balances that warmth and empathy that come from years of clinical experience and a strong passion for coaching… and the result is that you want to work as hard as you possibly can.”

Speakeasy opened it’s New York office in 2006 after years of working on site for clients in the area. The firm has been helping executives drive greater business success through developing more effective and impactful communication abilities for more than 30 years – working with executives at such companies at Coca-Cola, Visa, Accenture, Cisco, The Gillette Company, United States Postal Service, Turner Broadcasting, Nestle USA, Sprint Corporation, The Home Depot and hundreds of others. Speakeasy is based in Atlanta, and is also expanding operations in San Francisco.
