Speakeasy Announces New President and Executive Vice President
Recent internal promotions to the Speakeasy management team serve to propel the company to continued growth in 2016 and beyond.
With a continued commitment to expanding communication skills programs across the country, Speakeasy appoints Kip Coombs to President and Paige Goldner to Executive Vice President. For over 40 years, Speakeasy has crafted and delivered world-class business communication training programs for corporate clients, teams, and business professionals. Kip and Paige are excellent examples of communication professionals, having both spent time in various positions within Speakeasy before their recent promotion.
As Speakeasy enters 2016, combined with their continued growth to expand their services into new markets globally, CEO and Owner, Scott Weiss found it essential to look forward to the company’s continued success and expand the leadership team. “Kip is a twenty year veteran of the company and he’s been going through an extensive, multi-year process to prepare him for the role of President. Paige is an extremely talented and experienced executive who has evolved and demonstrated her varied capabilities to lead as our Executive Vice President. Both of these executive leaders represent the next chapter in Speakeasy’s long and successful legacy,” said Weiss.
Speakeasy’s newly appointed president, Kip Coombs has been with the company for over two decades. His professional career includes working with long-term clients such as the Coca-Cola Company, State Farm, Accenture, Schlumberger, and Kimberly Clark. Kip is well known to both colleagues and clients for his objectivity, ability to listen attentively to others, and his dedication to professional development. All of these innate attributes make Kip an ideal asset to lead the Speakeasy management team.
With expertise matching great solutions with critical client needs, Kip is excited to bring his passion for communication and business training to his work as Speakeasy’s President.
“I am very much looking forward to leveraging my twenty years of experience with Speakeasy and, alongside CEO and Owner, Scott Weiss leading the organization as we continue our global growth and expansion efforts,” Coombs explains shortly after accepting the new position.
Joining Kip in the leadership changes is Paige Goldner, assuming the role as Speakeasy’s Executive Vice President. Paige brings over 16 years of experience in human resource development and executive search to ensure that Speakeasy is able to achieve long-term, strategic growth. She hopes to continue to help Speakeasy provide expert-level communication skills training that is both congruent with company values and is in-line with the promises they make to each client.
“I am honored to have the opportunity to serve in this significant leadership capacity and I look forward to contributing to the ongoing growth of Speakeasy,” Goldner commented.
With recently increased program offerings in Chicago and Boston, Speakeasy continues to provide expert guidance and support for communicators, at all stages of their communication journey. The new additions of Kip Coombs and Paige Goldner to the management team will serve to enable Speakeasy to reach more communicators and provide best-in-class trainings to enhance business communication, all over the world.
